  • Vintage purple glass shot glass with pewter decor

I received this glass among a set of miniature vintage  pottery.

It's a shot glass with a handle, and a pewter seal that  has the symbol of the double-headed eagle.  I didn't know this symbol before, so I researched it,  and this is what I found :

    - It's an ancient heraldic symbol that has been  used as an emblem of power  - it was used by the Romans, the Greeks,  in Byzantium  - it's an imperial symbol

But, I have no idea where it came from.  I only have one.

    The dimensions are :  Height 8.5 cm // 3.3 inches  Diameter 3.3 cm // 1.29 inches
