Salon en rotin et bambou, recyclé, bordeaux coussins tartan, 3 pièces
Peut-être avez-vous vu déjà les deux grands fauteuils en osier rouge bordeaux 
qui sont listés dans la boutique, ils sont listés par paire et aussi individuellement. 
Cet été, j'ai eu l'idée de créer un petit salon, en leur ajoutant une pièce, 
un petit canapé en bambou et rotin que je devais relooker. 
J'ai commencé à peindre le petit canapé en rouge bordeaux, et 
finalement j'ai décidé de tout reprendre et de tout repeindre
pour avoir exactement la même teinte. 
Puis, j'ai trouvé par chance des petits coussins qui allaient très bien 
avec le coloris de mes meubles, et qui me permettaient d'unifier 
l'ensemble. Les coussins ne sont pas faits par moi, ils sont neufs 
et je les ai intégrés dans les meubles. 
Les trois pièces sont ainsi parfaitement assorties, et ce sont tous 
des meubles recyclés. 
Le type de canapé qui va d'ordinaire avec des fauteuils est plus haut et 
plus grand. En général il peut asseoir de 3 à 4 personnes.  
Mais je trouve que d'avoir un petit canapé à la place, permet de créer 
une atmosphère cozy, peut-être un coin lecture, ou peut être un endroit 
social, dans un coin de votre maison. 
Je l'imagine soit sur une terrasse, dans une véranda, sur un rooftop, 
ou peut être juste dans une chambre d'amis, ou même votre salon. 
Le petit canapé comporte 3 places mais il sera plus confortable pour 
seulement 2 personnes. Donc en tout ce petit salon peut asseoir 4 
personnes. 
Les coussins sont lavables, en cotton. (Mais pas lessivables 
ni déperlants). 
Les meubles sont légers, et peuvent être déplacés facilement. 
Quelques plantes, et ils suffiront pour créer une ambiance !
Attention toutefois, si vous choisissez de le mettre sur une 
terrasse, les coussins ne sont pas waterproof, et la peinture 
ni l'osier n'aimeront la pluie. Il faudra donc les rentrer au sec pour l'hiver. 
La peinture est vernie, et cela donne un fini un peu brillant.

  • You may have already seen the large rattan armchairs I have in my shop, 
    and they are listed both together and individually. 

    This summer, I had the idea to create a full patio set with them, by adding 
    a small settee I had to recycle. 

    I started to paint the small settee dark red, and eventually decided to 
    repaint everything, to be sure to have the exact same color. 

    Then I found some very nice and cozy pillows that I liked, with a kind 
    of tartan design, that were matching the set. These were not handmade 
    by me, I bought them to fit in the seats. 

    The three pieces are thus perfectly recycled. 
    Usually, the type of settee that you would have with these armchairs, is 
    much bigger, and perhaps sitting 4 people. 

    But I find that using a small settee instead, creates a cozy atmosphere, 
    and it's perfect to create a nice reading place, or perhaps a social corner, 
    in your house. 

    I picture it maybe outside, on a terrace, or in a glasshouse terrace, 
    a rooftop, or just one nice room like a guest room, or perhaps your 
    living room. 

    The small settee has three seats but will be more comfy for two. 
    So overall I'd say this corner sits 4 people. 
    The pillows are washable, made of cotton. 

    The furniture is very light, and can be moved around easily. 
    A few plants, and you are all set !!

    Warning : this can be a patio and outdoor set, however the pillows 
    are not waterproof, and it will not like the rain, or the cold. 
    It is advised to store it in in the winter time if you use it outside. 

    The paint is varnished, so the finish is slightly glossy.
