Cet album photo est très spécial, car il a été assemblé en Inde.
Tout est fait à la main: le papier noir des pages, la couture d'assemblage du livre, et enfin la belle couverture broderie Zardosi de l'album photo.
La broderie Zardosi est un type spécial de travail du tissu, qui assemble de nombreuses pièces de différents textiles, un peu comme le patchwork, qui sont ensuite rebrodées avec des perles et du fil d'argent ou du fil d'or.
Ce livre a été fabriqué dans l'état du Rajasthan. Je l'ai acheté avec d'autres que je vais aussi proposer dans ma boutique, lors de mon séjour dans la ville de Pushkar.
À l'origine, je voulais y consigner mon journal / et ou mes photos de voyage, mais je l'ai ramené à la maison et je les ai gardés longtemps. Ils ont été conservés dans une couverture en plastique de sorte que les couleurs sont encore éclatantes comme vous pouvez le voir, et il est en parfait état, même s'il est vintage.
Je pense qu'il ferait un merveilleux album photo de mariage, ou un album familial, à l'âge des photos numériques c'est presque un luxe d'avoir un vrai livre de photos à feuilleter, et encore plus s'il est comme celui-ci !
Ou, vous pourriez en faire un scrapbook. C'est déjà une œuvre d'art en soi !
Il est cartonné à l'intérieur, donc assez lourd, mais robuste. Il durera toute une vie :)))

This paper & textile photo album is very special, as it was put together in India.
Everything is handmade : the black paper of the pages, the sewing together of the book, and finally the beautiful Zardosi embroidery fabric cover of the photo album.
Zardosi embroidery is a special kind of embroidery that assembles many patches of different textiles, and then some pearls or gold thread can be embroidered on top of the patchwork.
This book was handmade, in the state of Rajasthan. I bought this one along with others I will offer in my shop, in the city of Pushkar.
Originally I wanted to record my travel journal in it, but I brought it home and kept them for a long time. They were kept in a plastic cover so the colors are still gorgeous as you can see, and it is in pristine condition, even though vintage.
I think it would be a wonderful wedding photo album, or family album, at the age of digital photos it's still a luxury to have a book of photos to flip through.
Or, you could do a scrapbook. It's already a piece of art as it is !
It has cardboard inside, so it's quite heavy, and sturdy. It will last a lifetime :)))
