JAISALMER Tapis ou décoration murale de couleur bleue, broderie zardosi, perles, fil d'or, décoration intérieure
Une petite merveille que ce tapis brodé du
Rajasthan, que j'ai ramené d'un de mes voyages en
Inde.
C'est un tapis qui est brodé avec du fil d'or, et des
perles, et on y voit une des techniques de broderies
traditionnelles du Rajasthan, la broderie Zardosi avec
du fil d'or, qui est une sorte de broderie, en relief ou non,
et avec des perles, très complexe.
Ce tapis peut être employé comme tapis de sol,
mais il faudra faire comme les Indiens, marcher
pied nu, sinon vous risqueriez de l'abîmer avec des
semelles, qui briseraient les perles.
Il ne peut pas, pour la même raison, être lavé,
ni à la machine ni à la main.
De même si vous l'amenez chez un teinturier ou au
nettoyage à sec, vérifiez bien d'abord qu'il s'y connaît !
Car une température trop forte ou trop d'humidité pourrait
endommager sa couleur et ses fils de manière irréversibles,
les teintures indiennes étant des couleurs entièrement
naturelles.

This is an authentic Rajasthan Rug, I brought back
years ago from my trip to India.All of the carpet, which is a small wonder,
is hand embroidered with traditional rajasthani embroidery,
with pearls and beads and gold thread and what is called
zardosi embroidery, which is a kind of very complex and
time consuming embroidery that can be found in India, Pakistan,
Iran and other countries.

you will have to do as Indians do if you use it as a carpet,
go bare-foot on it, as you might tread on the pearls and
break them.The dimensions are :

and must be handled with great care by a dry cleaner if
need be. In particular, the dying of the fabric is entirely
natural and so you must be careful not to dry clean it
