Un heurtoir en forme d'hippocampe, en laiton, que
j'ai acheté à l'île de Malte sur un marché artisanal local.L'objet est assez lourd, ce n'est pas une imitation mais
bien un objet "plein".Il est pourvu des deux tiges qui vous permettront de l'installer,
l'une pour le fixer, l'autre qui est la base du heurtoir sur
laquelle vient frapper la queue de l'hippocampe.Il faudra légèrement limer l'interstice dans lequel se
fixe la tige, et passer un chiffon métallique pour nettoyer
d'éventuel légers points de rouille.Cet objet est authentique, et vintage, ramené de mes

A door knocker that is sea-horse shaped,
made of solid brass. I bought it on the island
of Malta on a small local craftsmen market.This item is quite heavy, being solid brass,
it is not an imitation thing.It has the two stems that will allow you
to install it on your door.
You may want to file the little interstice
where the stem fits, and also you may need
to brush it here and there because of minor
rusted points on the stem.One is for fixing it, and the other is for
knocking, the tail of the sea horse knocks.This is a genuine vintage item from Malta,
