Ce coffre de rangement, a été récupéré dans les rues d'Aix en Provence. Je voulais le relooker depuis un moment, c'est chose faite !! J'ai utilisé des cartes routières et une mappemonde. Le résultat est très amusant, et très joli ! Vous pourrez même préparer votre prochain voyage, ou votre road trip en France !! Le dessus est une carte du monde, le devant et le derrière sont deux moitiés de la France. Et les côtés sont recouverts de parties de la Suisse et de l'Europe. Un voyage complet !! Ce meuble est en bois massif et le couvercle est relié par une chaîne. J'ai également peint l'intérieur, en bleu foncé, pour qu'il soit entièrement rénové. Il a une bonne capacité, indispensable pour stocker vos souvenirs de voyage, ou votre matériel... De trekking, de plongée... Oui parce que la vie, c'est dehors !! Allez zou !! This trunk was saved for recycling and then repaired.
I found it in the streets of Aix en Provence, it's a beautiful chest, of sculpted wood, with a lid that holds with chains and a lock.
I first prepared it with several layers of white paint, and set
to decorate it with maps of the world.
The top represents a map of the world, it's the official
Médecins sans frontières map (Doctors without border)
The back and front are two halves of France, so you
can organize and plan your next vacation and road trip !!
The sides are Switzerland.
These are real, accurate maps of the world.
The trunk is made of sculpted wood, and I had
some difficulty covering the high relief of the sides,
but finally succeeded.
The trunk is also painted on the inside, with acrylic paint.
The lid is attached with a chain.
For me, it's an ideal trunk to store your traveling
souvenirs, gear, etc. It could go in virtually any room of
the house, to store books, toys, clothes, etc.
