Un exemplaire de chaise que j'ai récupérée avant qu'elle ne
parte aux encombrants. En fait j'ai récupéré une série de 6 chaises, 4 rouges et 2 vertes. Cependant elles sont dans des états de conservation divers et je suis en train de les recycler, donc je vous propose pour l'instant celle-ci qui a été entièrement "requinquée".
Je l'ai d'abord nettoyée en profondeur, sur l'assise et passé pas mal de temps a remettre à neuf le tissu. C'est un tissu genre bouclette verte extensible et l'intérieur est en mousse, donc moëlleux. Les pieds sont en métal gris, ils sont légèrement rayés par l'usage. Les semelles comme je les appelle (embouts des pieds) sont très originales car elles ont la forme de pattes d'ibex !!
Le dossier est plastique, en polypropylène et je l'ai nettoyé également. La chaise est une chaise WAP dont la première commercialisation date de 2000.
Le designer est Jean Louis Iratzoki. La société qui les produit s'appelle Sokoa. Cependant cette chaise est une seconde main, même si elle a l'air neuve.
La chaise ne se replie pas mais elle est empilable et a des crochets mâles et femelle de chaque coté pour pouvoir accrocher plusieurs chaises ensemble.

Chaise Moderne WAP vert et blanc vintage structure métal
This is one of the 6 chairs I caught just in time
before they would be taken to the trash.
In fact among the 6 chairs, there are 4 red ones
and 2 green ones. However the state in which I
got them is variable and I will have to work on
their refurbishing, so for now I'm just showing
you this one that's ready.
First I deep cleaned the seat, and spent some
time on reclaiming the green fabric. It's a kind of
stretch but very comfortable fabric upon a wood
and foam structure. The legs are metal, the chair
doesn't fold.
The back is another material, it's of white plastic
which I also cleaned and refurbished.
The legs are a bit scratched by use. The "feet" of
the chair or their soles as I call them, are very nice
because they have the shape of an ibex foot.
The designer is Jean Louis Iratzoki.
The company that makes them started to sell
them in 2000 and they still make them. They are
chairs for meeting rooms, offices, or collective
happenings, they are practical because you can
pile them up, and hook them one to the other.
This chair even though it looks new, is a second
hand chair and it's important to know because there
will be some minor flaws.
You can order just one chair (it would be nice
in a living room) or wait until I have refurbished
the 4 red and the 2 greens, or you can contact
me if you would like to reserve this chair until
the others are made.
