J'ai trouvé ces deux chaises Henri II très abîmées,
mais comme j'adore ce style, j'ai craqué.
Après examen, et recollage d'une patte, il apparaît
que la réfection totale était trop périlleuse, elle
risquait d'endommager définitivement le cuir,
et le bois ne paraît pas assez consolidé pour un
usage intensif.Du coup, j'ai opté pour un projet de relooking fun,
au gré de mes envies ... et je les ai simplement repeintes.
Cela m'a permis d'expérimenter de peindre sur le cuir,
et comme vous voyez, le résultat est très joli.Je vous les propose donc à la vente comme déco et
pièce un peu arty pour votre intérieur, sachant que
j'en ai deux similaires, et qu'elles sont donc uniquement
destinées à la déco.N'hésitez pas à me poser des questions, les matériaux
sont du bois du cuir et du métal pour les clous de tapissier,
et j'ai utilisé des peintures acryliques avec un vernis mat
pour l'ensemble. Elles se dépoussièrent simplement, avec
un chiffon humide, pour l'usage dans le temps.Henri II en avait un peu marre des intérieurs Renaissance
très sombres, il a donc opté pour de la couleur !!

Chaise décorative Les VACANCES D'HENRI II peinture sur cuir rouge bleu
I found these two Henri II (Renaissance) style chairs, very damaged, but I love the style so I could do nothing else but buy them.
After examining them, I found that they were too damaged for a normal refurbishing, it would have definitely ripped the old leather, and the wood as well was not sturdy enough to be refurbished properly for seating.
So, I opted for a more decorative project for these, following my fantasy !
I chose to just repaint them. It allowed me to experiment with painting on leather, and as you can see, it works very well and gives a nice result.
So I offer them for sale as decorative items, an arty piece to give a touch of color to your interior. They are not I repeat, for seating.
Don't hesitate to ask me questions about these, the materials are : embossed leather and wood, and metal for the nails. I used acrylic paint and a matte finish.
They will be best preserved just by dusting them occasionnally with a damp cloth.
The name comes from the fact that Henry II was fed up with being in dark, gloomy renaissance interiors (although I love this style !!) andwanted to take a vacation from it all, by adding some real flashy color to his life ;)
