Une de mes "demoiselles de la Tour Eiffel", je les
propose désormais en achat individuel (c'est un
trio).
Les pieds sont rouge grenat / bordeaux,
les assises blanches et les dos et les
dessous sont noirs brillants. J'ai utilisé
de la peinture acrylique en majorité.
Puis, à la main, j'ai reproduit sur
les assises des photos de gravures du
19ème siècle, représentant les travailleurs
qui ont construit la tour Eiffel, entre
1887 et 1889, ainsi que les premiers
visiteurs qui ont eu l'honneur de gravir
les escaliers de la tour.
Ces gravures sont visibles dans la tour Eiffel
même, dans une exposition qui retrace les étapes
de construction.
La chaise "Anatolie" représente les travaux des ouvriers
sur le chantier sur l'assise, et sur le dossier, des voyageurs
visitant la tour.
N'hésitez pas à m'écrire si vous avez des questions
sur cette chaise ! Elle est réalisée sur commande. Sa réalisationprend pas mal de temps, délai de trois semaines minimum
de livraison.
Les dimensions des assises et dossiers peuvent légèrement
varier, car elle est réalisée à partir de chaise en formica à recycler,
selon ce que je trouve.
L'assise peut être vernie pour un usage d'apparat, ou consolidée
avec du film plastique pour un usage de la chaise au quotidien et
sa protection pour s'asseoir, contre les liquides etc. Le film est invisible.

One of my Demoiselles de La Tour Eiffel.
It's now available to purchase independently
from the two others. (It's originally a trio of chairs).This is a recycled formica chair, that I handpainted.
I used dark red for the legs, white paint for the
seat and shiny black paint for the back.
I used acrylic paint mostly, the legs are coated with invisible clear coat.Using photographs exhibited at the Eiffel
Tower, in Paris, of nineteenth century
etchings, representing the builders and
visitors of the Eiffel Tower between 1887
and 1889, I reproduced them by hand on
the seats with ink and paint.The same etchings can be seen if you visit
the Eiffel Tower, at one of the floors.
They tell of the stages of construction.I called this chair "Anatolie", and it represents
the first visitors of the metallic structure, the high society and visitors of the Eiffel Tower on top, and on the seat, the workers and the field of construction of the tower.Please ask me if you have questions about this
chair !This chair takes quite some time to make, as I do not use a printer but I draw by hand the etching. Do not expect a delivery before 3 weeks if you order it as recycling it and drawing takes time.
If you would like it to be an art chair, I can add a layer of protective coat. However, if you are going to use it as a normal everyday chair, I add a transparent protective film on it, that's invisible. This guarantees that it is long lasting, that the ink will stay and the color of the white will not pass. It also protects from stains or water spills.
