Des tabourets Thonet qui n'étaient pas en très bon état au départ. 
J'en ai trouvé une paire, ce sont des pièces qui sont assez 
rares à trouver, bien qu'on trouve pas mal de Thonet en bois courbé sur le marché du recyclage, on ne trouve pas souvent de tabouret de bar Thonet en bois d'origine. 
Je ne pense pas qu'il s'agisse d'une première génération de Thonet, mais ils sont plutôt de conception assez récente, c'est pourquoi je n'ai pas hésité à les repeindre.
 
Ils ont le dos en bois courbé comme tous les sièges Thonet en bois massif. Ils ont d'abord été réparés et recollés (il y a de légers défauts à certains endroits sous l'assise, sur les deux, mais qui se remarquent peu.)
 
Je les ai ensuite repeints en rose avec des pieds dorés chromés, un style bohème qui s'accordera bien avec un intérieur clair et des accessoires en osier ou en rotin clair par exemple.

  • This is one of the two Thonet Bar stools 
    I recycled, which weren't in great shape 
    when I found them. 

    I found a pair, and these pieces are not common 
    to find, although there are a number of Thonet 
    wooden chairs in circulation on the second hand market, it's rarer to find high stools, especially made of wood. 

    I don't think they are of very ancient manufacture 
    however, more a second generation of bent solid wood Thonet, and that's why I didn't hesitate to repaint them. 

    First they had to be repaired, and there are minor flaws 
    on each of the stools, under the seat, that testify to it. 
    But it won't draw your attention. Then I hand painted 
    them pink, and painted their feet chrome gold. They 
    will fit well in bright-colored rooms, with plenty of wicker and rattan accessories to complete a bohemian interior look.

    I used : acrylic paint for the seats, 
    Vinylic spray paint for the gold parts, 
    Water-based clear coating for the seats. 
    (the gold legs are not varnished). Matte finish.
