Un coffret ancien, qui contient une tasse en porcelaine
fine blanche et dorée, avec une cuiller en métal argenté
alcenide.Ce n'est pas du Limoges, mais ça y ressemble !
Il y a un monogramme doré qui représente la communion
à l'intérieur de la tasse, reproduit sur la soucoupe,
et le petit coffret est recouvert de satin blanc à l'intérieur,
avec un couvercle transparent.C'est un ensemble qui était offert pour la communion
(première ou solennelle), chez les personnes de confession
catholique romaine.
Mais on peut aussi l'envisager pour un baptême ou pour
toute autre occasion.Les objets sont en très bon état, y compris la cuiller en
métal argenté alcenide 18 grs (d'argent) , qui est plus
une curiosité à mon avis :))N'hésitez pas si vous avez des questions sur

Tasse de communiant(e), coffret cadeau ancien tasse + soucoupe + cuiller
An antique box, that contains a teacup with
saucer, and a spoon, a gift especially designed
for Solemn Communion.The teacup is not stamped Limoges, but
looks a lot like it. There's a golden monogram
inside the cup, replicated on the saucer, that
represents Communion (for people of Roman
Catholic confession).Inside, the box is covered of white satin, and
has a transparent plastic cover.
It can still be a gift for Communion, but also
maybe for Baptism, or any other occasion, or
for a collection.The spoon is made of silver metal that has
oxydated with a bluish tint, it's alcenide metal
of 18 grs of silver, according to the stamps
that are visible on the spoon.I would advise to use the spoon only as a
curiosity, but the teacup can be used normally.Don't hesitate to ask if you have some questions about this item.
