Voici une paire de chaises récupérées en bord de route, 
qui m'avaient bien plu à cause de leur simplicité. 
 
Je les ai repeintes d'abord en blanc, puis j'ai créé un 
design à partir de trois couleurs, vert menthe, 
vert eucalyptus, et vert bleu. 
 
En les peignant je me suis dit qu'elles avaient un petit 
look Roland Garros, car les couleurs sont proches des
couleurs choisies par les designers de la marque. 
 
Elles ont définitivement un petit air tennis, ou golf. 
Et en les photographiant je me suis dit que le nom 
"on the green" leur convenait parfaitement, pour la 
référence à ces deux sports mais aussi parce que 
c'est un design qui joue sur les dégradés de verts
sobres. 
 
On ne voit pas très bien à cause de l'exposition des 
photos, mais en intérieur vous le verrez, les pieds 
et montants des deux chaises sont bleu vert et non 
vert menthe comme le reste. 
 
Je les ai photographiées en extérieur pour célébrer 
le retour du vert, le printemps. 
 
NOTE : IL MANQUE UN BARREAU ARRIÈRE À UNE DES 
CHAISES. Cela ne remet pas en cause la stabilité.

  • These are some chairs I picked up with a colleague 
    on the side of the road ! 
    I liked them because they have a simple design, 
    and they are made of wood. 

    I checked them and repainted them white, 
    then I started to create a design with three 
    colors, mint green (pale green), eucalyptus 
    green (darker) and blue green. (a mix of 
    green and baby blue). 

    When I was painting them I thought they had 
    a little "Roland Garros" design, because the 
    colors are close to the ones chosen by the 
    designers of the brand. They definitely have a 
    little "tennis" air about them, or they made me 
    think of golf courses. 

    When I was photographing them I picked the 
    name "On the green" for them, as it seemed 
    fit ! For a design about various colors of green
    and for the reference to sports. 

    The legs of the chair are not the same color 
    they are blue green. 

    I shot them outside to celebrate the return
    of the "green", Spring. 

    PLEASE NOTE : ONE OF THE CHAIRS IS 
    MISSING A lower HIND BAR. It doesn't affect the 
    stability of the chair. 

    The price is for the pair of chairs.
